Type 0

If/when + Present Simple, Present Simple

When I come home after school, I have dinner.

Type 1

To, что может реально произойти в нашей жизни.

If/when + Present Simple, Future Simple

If the sun shines, we will go for a walk.

Type 2

Сослагательное накл.: «сейчас»

If + Past Simple, would + V

If the teacher forgot to give us the hometask («сейчас»), we wouldn't have any homework to do.

В официальной речи используется WERE для всех лиц и чисел: If I were you

Type 3

Сослагательное накл.: «вчера»

If + Past Perfect, would + have + V3

I wrote a test and got a bad mark.

If I had done my h/w («вчера»), I would have received a “5”.
